Overall, we had a great stay. The resort is beautiful, relaxing, and the food was excellent everywhere we ate. A special shoutout to the bartenders in the middle of the food hall, they were friendly, attentive, and truly added to our experience. The biggest issue was communication. Calls to the resort often went unanswered, and the chat feature was very slow with vague responses when we did hear back. Better communication regarding fees, questions, and guest concerns would make a huge difference. We were also disappointed to find a bath towel with lipstick on it and a used coffee cup with lipstick still on it when we arrived in our room. More attention to housekeeping details is needed. I’d also skip the rooftop bar if you’re looking for quick, friendly service. The bartender was not very pleasant, and service was extremely slow. Despite those issues, the resort itself is gorgeous, relaxing, and offers great food. With some improvements to communication and service, this could easily be a 5-star experience.

We went for a couples massage at the spa, and it was such a wonderful experience! If you book a spa treatment, complimentary valet parking is included. Just check in with the concierge, and they'll direct you to the spa. The spa is beautiful, peaceful, and the staff was really good, especially Debbie, who made us feel so welcome. We were greeted with snacks and a complimentary champagne or mimosa, and our massage therapists were amazing! Your spa reservation also gives you access to enjoy the resort for the rest of the day. We didn't have enough time to enjoy the pools, but we did visit the adults only Blue Lounge on the 8th floor, which was beautiful. There's also a large family pool on the first floor. The resort is stunning, with several restaurants we'd love to try next time. We're already looking forward to coming back with our kids. Highly recommend this experience! ✨💆♀️🥂🌴

Beautiful property! We stayed in the Sunsuites, which felt incredibly high-end, spacious, and featured a fantastic gourmet kitchen: Sub-zero refrigerator, Wolf oven/range and Nestle espresso maker. Incredible views from all 3 bedrooms! Every room has a ceiling fan and all lights have dimmers. I loved the extra perk of free soda, water, coffee and snacks in the Sunsuites lobby. **The Highlights:** * **Outstanding Service:** Colin (with one L) at valet is hands-down the nicest and most impressive employee I have seen in years—I hope he runs the place one day! A huge thank you also to Dakota for quickly and professionally resolving a billing issue. Both employees epitomize hospitality and should be in upper management. Really all the employees on property were superior which is unusual these days. * **Festive Vibes:** The 4th of July fireworks were absolutely top-notch and made the entire weekend feel so celebratory. * **Waterfront Views** It’s a river but feels like a giant ocean. Never seen such impressive views from every room. Even the gym. * **High-End Gym with Classes. New equipment and all cardio has entertainment. If I could pay to join this gym I would. **Constructive Feedback:* * **Dining:** The food could use a little work. While there is plenty of variety, the quality was a bit disappointing (around a 3/5). Also options were closed at weird times in the food court which seemed odd with a sold out hotel. My husband was never able to get a shake with lunch because the gelato place was never open during the day. * **Pet Amenities:** It would be great to see a fence added by the dog walking area to shield pets and owners from passing cars. Also, it's a bummer that the hurricane ruined the covered dog area under the garage; replacing that would be amazing for rainy days. Overall we found this to be a dog friendly space and have no true complaints- just see room for improvement. Despite the minor areas for improvement, we loved this stay so much that it absolutely deserves 5 stars overall. Truly one of the best long weekend staycations we have ever done in Florida! I think because there’s no beach the price is reasonable. But the pools and water views are so worth no beach!

What should have been a relaxing family day turned into a series of unnecessary frustrations. The resort is beautiful, the pool is fantastic, the food is excellent, and the drinks are great. Unfortunately, the service and overall guest experience did not match the quality of the property. This was my fourth pool visit, and every time there has been an issue with our food order. This visit, I was given the wrong meal, and after it had already been opened and handled, staff took it to the guest who had actually ordered it. My correct meal had also been delivered to another table and was later brought back to me. I told of the mishap and asked if I wanted it made fresh, which I said yes to. But this should have never even been a question. The bigger issue was the day room we rented specifically for our first outing with our 4-month-old son. When my husband took our baby upstairs to change him, he spent nearly 20 minutes dealing with malfunctioning elevator and room keys. He couldn't access the room, leaving him with a wet, cold, hungry infant and no way to get inside until a housekeeper finally helped. When I explained everything to the front desk and told them we were leaving because the day had been ruined, the only response I received was, "Oh no.". There was no apology, concern, or attempt to make things right. To make matters worse, another guest on our floor was experiencing the same key issues and had witnessed my husband's ordeal. It's unfortunate because the property itself is lovely, but recurring food service mistakes, key access problems, and a lack of customer care turned what should have been a special family day into a disappointing experience. As much as I hate to say it, we'll likely return to the Pink Shell in Fort Myers, where we've consistently had a better overall experience.

We bought one night at this hotel. We've never been here before we got to our room and we left and went up to the bar to get something to eat and then it rained and they asked us to leave. They had to close the pool down because the lightning and they told us to come back when the sky is clear so a couple hours later we came up and it was clear he unlocked the door for us and told them we're gonna reopen it and when we got up there and my boyfriend got in the pool very nice and then I was getting ready to get in the pool and guy comes up to me so you can't get in the pool you have to get out we're gonna close the pool and I said well it's sunny. It's clear and he's like I know you guys have been back-and-forth and I appreciate it, but my managers told me to close it down. You have to get out of the pool you're done swimming you can't swim anymore. She spent a lot of money for hotel room to enjoy the pool and then they decide to close out for no reason he didn't really give me a reason. The weather was nice and clearing up so that wasn't it so we went back to the room took showers. Went down in eight. That was good food drinks were good a little pricey, but they were good and then went to get in the shower and there were hairs in the shower and then I found dirt on the counter on the floor next to the toilet in front of the toilet on the floor in the counters in the bedroom. I have pictures of all this and it kind of smelled kind of funky when we came in, but we didn't think nothing about it so I will never stay here again and when we checked out, we told the front clerk that we weren't happy with our stay. He's like I'm sorry that's wrong and I told him everything and he's like I'm sorry I said I won't come back. Have a good day he said so if you ever go there, make sure your rooms are clean no dirt no hair is in the shower. You spend a lot of money in their rooms to enjoy. Their facility. Service was great. The people were very friendly, but everything else was wrong.

Was here for the USMA conference. Absolutely beautiful resort with so many options for restaurants and even has a food court! I loved spending time at the adult only pool but there was also a great pool for families and kids. It was really a great spot for a conference because there were lots of options on site without having to take large parties to offset dining. We got BOGO coupons for drinks too! Hotel staff was warm and friendly, there was even live music at the bar most nights. Had dinner at the new resturante Stretto, really great food and even took clients there two nights in a row! David was our waiter, he did awesome with carving two table-side bone in ribbye's. I look forward to bringing the kids here next spring break.

My husband and I went with a day pass to the pool. Upon entering the hotel looks new and big on the outside. And inside was even more beautiful. There was a lovely front desk lady who directed us to the pool, and after finding it we put our bag away and got something to eat. There was alot of options to choose from we settled with Japanese it was good. After which we went to the pool. The pool was packed we couldn’t find seats with shade, but after around 15 minutes we did find a few and settled there. Ordered some drinks and enjoyed the scenery. I hope we get to stay there soon

This resort is truly a nice place to escape if you live close by. The food is very good and the rooms are clean and spacious. However, one thing that makes me skeptical to return is how many people they give day passes to. The pool was EXTREMELY crowded, to the point that it felt more like a motel 8 pool on the strip in Panama City Beach than it did a resort. On the Saturday we stayed, we got to the pool very early to reserve a chair near the wade in area of the pool as I have a 2 1/2 year old and a 4 month old baby. We had no problem getting chairs around 8:30AM. We stayed at the pool until around 11:30 when it started to lightning and thunder. The hotel then closed the pool due to the storms, of course. My husband and I left our baby's float across two chairs to keep our chairs reserved. However, unfortunately, another family moved our belongings when we came back down after the pool was reopened. At that point, there were zero chairs open. However, several cabanas were open and I went to ask an employee near the towel distribution hut if I could sit in one with my four month old until an umbrella opened up and/or the person who reserved the cabana showed up. I was truly stunned by the dismissiveness of the woman who appeared to be the MANAGER of the pool area. She made no eye contact with me as she continued to write on her papers in front of her telling me essentially that I was out of luck. At this point, another employee at the pool, Lauren Hill, looked at me and asked me for my name and number. She said that she will come find me and help me find a chair with an umbrella for me and the baby. Lauren then asked the pool servers if they had anyone that was closing out their tab soon so that she could ask them if I could have their chair and umbrella. This is how you use your brain in hospitality! Within 10 minutes, she found a woman who was leaving the pool and coordinated us taking over her spot. I completely understand that the manager could not magically make a chair appear, I also do not expect special treatment because I had a baby, but I just asked for her to work with me to try and figure out a solution. Lauren was able to provide me with the grace and patience I needed during a chaotic moment, not the manager. Lauren also continued to check in with us the remainder of the afternoon making sure we didn't need a thing. Long story short, if you stay at this resort, expect a lot of resort pass folks and if you need anything at all, look for Lauren. She is 5 stars when it comes to hospitality.
